What we can offer...
Edwalton Primary School can offer creative packages to visiting nurseries, playgroups and primary schools to enjoy hands-on learning experiences. We can provide a range of activities for children of all ages from mainstream and special schools. We can organise creative writing workshops, art, science and sustainability trails, plus hands-on work relating to themes within Literacy, Numeracy and Science.
Last year, Mr. Owens constructed an enclosure to protect the children from dangerous lions, tigers and leapards- they had such fun and excitement!
We offer practical sessions in animal care designed to meet the specific needs of the individual. Children can gain experience in all aspects of handling and caring for livestock, invertebrates, and small pets. At the end of the course, students will be awarded a certificate in competency. Practical sessions are also available to supplement theoretical courses at other educational establishments.
