INTERNATIONAL INTERMEDIATE AWARD ACHIEVED!

We are working hard to gain the next level in the 'International Award' categories.

Last term (summer 2008) we hosted 47 International headteachers on behalf of the National College on route to an International conference in Birmingham. Children from various age groups gave tours around the school, farm , woods and grounds. Presents were exchanged, speeches given and photographs taken.

This term we are hosting visitors from Norway and later this term we will be hosting the head teacher of Meeru Primary, our African Partner school.

Currently we have formed strong links with two schools; Meeru Primary in Uganda and Pukoho School in New Zealand.

We are trying really hard to make a firm link with a school in Spain. We have initiated a link with the teachers and pupils in Spain but so far haven't really had much information back about their school.

SPANISH DAY 2008

On June 24th 2008 we held a Spanish day where children sampled a Spanish style lunchtime and teachers ran activities in classrooms. Next acadamic year we are going to hold a BIG spanish day where children will be invited to come in Spanish style costumes and get involved in a wide variety of activites! (plans are already being put in place and if you know any flamenco dancers please get in touch!)
